Dismantling Part III

Today I had the remaining parts dismantled. Not difficult but some items were mounted in a fixed strange way. I made a lot of photo's for reference. They are not in a chronologic order, to much work. Nor am I in the mood to write a detailled blog, only some supporting text for a few photo;s.

To remove the rubber and chrome strip I had to untwist a piece of metal on the inside of the body. Simple.

The steering rod (white pipe) is welded together and both axles are "frictioned" and can't be removed due to this. So the whole lot needs to come out in one go.

To remover the pedal push section was a bit of a hassle. To remove the pins I had to hammer back the dent with a piece of wood. This took more effort as anticipated. But in the end there was sufficient room to remove both pins.

Both pedals has one screw fixed underneather the rubber. At first I thought the rubber was poor and the pin went thru it. but that was not the case. I think it was a factory mistake somehow.
